Are Hemp Products Legal?

Yes, hemp products are legal in all 50 states and U.S. territories. All of our Ozark Mountain Medicine products are made in compliance with federal laws and regulations.

Will Hemp Get Me High?

No, hemp products will not get you high, even though they are concentrated full spectrum. We abide closely by the ratios dictated by law.

What Is Full Spectrum, and Why Is It Better?

Full-spectrum CBD contains all of the extracts naturally found in the cannabis plant. When all of these extracts are found in combination in full-spectrum CBD, it produces what is called the “entourage effect.” It is widely accepted that all of the ingredients offered by the plant are needed to facilitate the absorbtion into the central nervous system.

How long does it take to feel the effects of CBD?

This is subjective as you would imagine. The effects of CBD can differ from person to person based on factors such as height, weight, and the dosage of CBD consumed. Some find that the medicine lasts quite a while in their bodies while others metabolize it quickly and need to dose more often.  It is always prudent to allow your body to absorb and metabolize to allow the desired effect.

Do I need a marijuana card or prescription to use CBD?

Our products include hemp-derived CBD, which is legally available for purchase throughout the United States without the need for a marijuana card or a physician’s prescription.

Will CBD show up on a drug test?

Hemp-derived CBD products are produced from hemp plants that contain less than 0.3% THC; however, trace amounts may still be present. There exists a slight possibility that the consumption of CBD could result in a positive drug test for THC, similar to any product derived from hemp. If this poses a considerable concern, it is recommended to consult with your employer or healthcare provider prior to use.

How much CBD should I take?

Each individual has a unique endocannabinoid system consisting of various types and quantities of receptors. Think of this as your “endocannabinoid fingerprint”. The ideal dose of this medicine will vary from person to person and you will need to adjust it to find your desired effect – your personal therapeutic dose. Use our handy guide to get started.
